Vermeil Brand of Jewellery Trisu Raises Capital From All In and Other Sources

An undisclosed sum was raised by the Gurugram-based vermeil jewellery company Trisu in a pre-seed funding round headed by All In Capital, with involvement from JK Tyres, Amaanta Group, and a number of angel investors.

Trisu intends to use funds for market expansion, product innovation, and customer acquisition.

For the uninitiated, vermeil jewellery consists of a sterling silver base with a thick layer of gold plating, offering a durable and affordable alternative to gold jewellery.

Saloni Chopra founded Trisu in 2023, providing 18-karat gold-plated silver jewellery in gold vermeil. The brand wants to offer reasonably priced alternatives to gold to customers between the ages of 30 and 60.

Our objective is to upend India’s $80 billion jewellery market by offering distinctive vermeil pieces that resemble solid gold at a lower cost. By 2034, we want to hold 10% of the market for gold jewellery worn every day,” Chopra stated.
