In light of Israel’s increased military engagement with Iran, the UK has cautioned British citizens against visiting the country at all. Following recent missile launches by both Israel and the Occupied Palestinian Territories, the Foreign, Commonwealth, and Development Office issued the guidance. The airspace of Israel is still restricted.

According to the advice, there is a “fast-moving situation that poses significant risks. “Things could worsen even more swiftly and unexpectedly. People who are already in Israel or the Occupied Territories have been instructed to heed local authorities’ recommendations.

The FCDO’s last caution mentioned the dangers of regional escalation. In earlier guidance, Britons were advised to refrain from “all travel to parts of Israel.”Following the declaration of a state of emergency on June 13, this was revised to caution against “all but essential travel” to the nation.

As said in a post on X, “My message to British nationals there is clear your safety remains our top priority.” Additionally, the FCDO discourages travel to Iran. James Eden, a British grandpa, claimed to be stuck in Jerusalem after flying to Israel on June 9th on a six-day Christian pilgrimage.
