Cristiano Ronaldo, a Portuguese football player and a world-renowned athlete, got engaged to Georgina Rodriguez, his longtime girlfriend. Georgina showed off the ostentatious ring Ronaldo proposed to her with on social media. Fans were ecstatic when the Argentine-Spanish beauty acknowledged that she had made the right choice. Various groups of experts began estimating the engagement ring’s cost as soon as the image surfaced on social media.
The ring seemed to be more than five centimeters long, with two lesser stones on either side of a large oval-shaped central diamond. Since then, jewelry experts have begun to share their estimations of the ring’s cost.
According to Briony Raymond, the primary oval diamond may be 25–30 carats, although other experts believe it should weigh at least 15 carats. The two side diamonds appear to weigh about one carat apiece, according to Kegan Fisher, the creator of the jewelry company Frank Darling.
Given its size and quality, the diamond is considered to be extremely premium; expert appraisals place its value between USD 2 and $5 million (about Rs 16.8 crore and Rs 42 crore). While Rare Carat CEO Ajay Anand has valued the ring up to USD 5 million, Laura Taylor of Lorel Diamonds thinks that the diamond will have a minimum worth of USD 2 million.
