Kamala Harris Selects Walz, a Grassroots Democrat

Even though Kamala Harris entered the presidential race later than expected due to Joe Biden’s withdrawal, her detractors, many across the country, were waiting for her to make a mistake in selecting her vice presidential candidate. It appears that Harris has done more than just the right thing in selecting Governor Tim Walz of Minnesota.

In a sense, she has struck the bull’s eye. She enhanced the Democrats’ progressive, even left, reputation. Similar to Biden, Harris always gave the impression of being a centrist while still being aware of important issues like abortion, climate change, etc. By selecting Walz, she demonstrated her complete alignment with the left flank of the Democratic Party’s liberal front.

The United Auto Workers (UAW) gave Tim Walz the best recommendation, saying, “He just doesn’t talk the talk; he walks the walk.” We know who he supports because he delivered goods to working-class Americans and joined the UAW on the picket line last year. For this reason, in December, we will send @KamalaHarris and @Tim_Walz to the White House.
