It is anticipated that the last 48 Israeli prisoners in Gaza would be released Monday AM local time, just before a 72-hour deadline for their release passes. Additionally, Israel will release about 2,000 Palestinian detainees and prisoners. Following several searches in the occupied West Bank, the Israeli military has cautioned Palestinians against celebrating.

Following his meetings with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the prisoner families, US President Donald Trump is scheduled to speak at Israel’s parliament on Monday. Following that, Trump will meet with leaders from over 20 nations in Egypt to discuss the future of Gaza.

According to Egyptian state-affiliated media, aid trucks are anticipated to arrive in southern Gaza today. As the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas enters its third day, tens of thousands of Palestinians have returned home to discover nothing but rubble. Numerous bodies have been recovered from the wreckage, according to local authorities.

Itay Chen, a 19-year-old soldier in the Israel Defense Forces, was pronounced dead by the IDF after first being thought to have been captured during the October 7 attack on Israel, which was led by Hamas.
