A recent online discussion concerning specific aspects of food delivery was initiated by a startup based in Bengaluru. Ujjwal Sukheja, the company’s founder, launched the platform and described its creation process on X. The app, called “Swish,” is intended to be a “10-minute food delivery app.” The company’s founder wrote, “We take care of tech, food, and delivery so we can minimise the delivery time for you.” Right now, the app is available in HSR.
The founder stated, “In HSR, you can get anything quickly a dosa from a darshini in minutes while describing how the platform came to be. However, the wait times for online meal delivery can be excruciatingly long. We came to understand that many young people who are similar to us have this issue. Thus, we are creating Swish for both of us and them.
Over 440K people have viewed the original X post to date. Online responses to it have been diverse. A few praised the startup and expressed their desire to try it when they would be passing through. Others, though, were a little sceptical. For a variety of reasons, many criticised the 10-minute delivery time that was promised.
