We recently had the privilege of engaging in an insightful conversation with Dr. Amir Toren, a visionary leader, entrepreneur, inventor, board member, and author. Currently leading as the CEO and Board Member of BioGal Galed Labs, he leads the pioneering organization’s veterinary diagnostic platform. As a trusted business consultant and guide, he has helped in raising over $300M funding across multiple ventures, alongside building multinational partnerships. The Career Trajectory
We started the interview by asking, “Could you please share about your professional journey over the years?
Dr. Toren shared, “With over 25 years experience as a life science executive, board member, entrepreneur, and author, I have worked across biotech, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, and digital health areas. I hold a PhD degree in Molecular Microbiology & Biotechnology from Tel Aviv University, and an MBA from Bar-Ilan University, which helps me to blend deep scientific expertise with strong business leadership.
Throughout my career, I have raised more than $300M in funding across multiple ventures, led regulatory and commercialization strategies in the U.S. and Europe, while building multinational partnerships. I served as Venture Partner, CTO, and VP of Business Development at NGT3VC, evaluating over 150 startups annually and managing a portfolio of 27 life sciences companies, guiding them through FDA processes, IP strategy, and market positioning. I even served as Co-CEO and Board Member of AccYouRate Group S.p.a., a developer of CE-certified smart wearable technologies.
Currently, I lead as the CEO and Board Member of BioGal Galed Labs, leveraging my expertise in driving strategic transformation and global expansion of the company’s veterinary diagnostic platform.”
