Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani announced on Tuesday that Italy had summoned the Russian ambassador to Rome following a series of insults directed at Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni by a Russian television host.
Meloni was called a “disgrace to the human race,” a “wild beast,” a “certified idiot,” and a “nasty little woman” by Russian television host Vladimir Solovyov, according to Italian media.
