BSNL has declared that they will not impose any setup fees for internet connections at home. The complimentary service is available until March 31, 2025. The telecom company is trying to draw people’s attention with this move because it appears that they are forgetting about the government-owned telecom company.
The telecom provider in India, BSNL, recently made a special announcement for its customers. According to the government telecom provider, customers who choose to install internet service at home won’t be assessed any extra costs. By next year, the offer will still be good until 2025. The decision was made in response to the nation’s declining broadband user base, which is getting smaller every day. The quick network rollout by Reliance Jio and Airtel, which are already providing reasonably priced broadband plans and are frequently cited as the main factor behind people choosing private telecom services over public ones, is another significant factor in the decision.
According to a report by TelecomTalk, BSNL will no longer charge installation fees for setting up broadband service in customers’ homes. Users will not be charged an installation fee by the company for broadband installations until the end of the 2025 fiscal year, on March 31, 2025.
