Beginning on December 6, Dubai will have two drone and fireworks exhibitions every day, along with a first-ever fireworks and drone show. As part of the Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF), the performances will take place over 38 days, ending on January 12 of the following year.
During the second weekend of DSF, the skies will be illuminated with pyro drone shows, which are drone-based fireworks. On December 13 at 8 p.m., skydivers will launch about 150 pyro drones over Bluewaters and The Beach, JBR, and again at 10 p.m. On January 11, the DSF closing weekend, 150 pyro-drone performances will once more awe spectators.
The show this year has two themes. The first event, which takes audiences on a trip through three decades of the festival, commemorates DSF’s legacy from December 6 to 26. The drones will create a QR code between December 6 and 12, which guests can scan to deliver a customized message. On December 13, drones will make these messages come to life. The second theme from December 27 to January 12 will showcase 2D and 3D drone formations of iconic landmarks.
