The economic and investment connection between the United Arab Emirates and Turkey has rapidly expanded. In recent years, the United Arab Emirates has invested over $6 billion in Turkey, while Turkey has invested over $3 billion in the United Arab Emirates.

On the sidelines of Investopia 2025, which opened in Abu Dhabi today, Burak Dağlıoğlu, President, Investment Office of the Presidency of Türkiye, told the Emirates News Agency (WAM) that the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA), which has improved investment exchanges between the two countries, is expected to drive further growth in bilateral investment flows.

He highlighted that Turkish businesses are eager to make large investments in the UAE and grow internationally by taking advantage of the country’s status as a hub for international trade, which gives them access to markets in Asia and Africa.

Dağlıoğlu went on to say that Turkey offers UAE companies attractive investment opportunities by utilising its vast trade network, which includes the EU Customs Union and 30 free trade agreements, which give access to a market with more than one billion people.
