In anticipation of full-scale operations by 2026, Autogo, a Kintsugi Holding company based in the United Arab Emirates, has announced the start of its RoboTaxi service testing in Abu Dhabi. This move, which intends to introduce next-generation mobility technologies to Abu Dhabi’s streets, is part of a strategic cooperation with Apollo Go, Baidu’s autonomous mobility business. Baidu is one of the world’s top companies in large-scale self-driving transportation.
As part of the emirate’s efforts to improve smart mobility, the operational trials are being carried out in collaboration with Abu Dhabi’s Integrated Transport Centre (ITC) to make sure the service complies with regional transport strategies, legal frameworks, and infrastructural needs.
RoboTaxi cars, made to satisfy the demands of contemporary cities, provide a clever and smooth transportation experience. The vehicles’ sophisticated electric design and AI-driven technologies ensure accurate and reliable driving and real-time reactivity to environmental circumstances.
The goal of Autogo goes beyond making mobility easier. By lowering human driving errors, the RoboTaxi seeks to improve road safety. Additionally, because it runs entirely on electricity, it is a more environmentally friendly choice that lowers emissions, eases traffic, and helps to rethink the future of smart cities.
