A Boulder March Supporting Israeli Prisoners in Gaza was Attacked, Injuring Six People

After at least six people were hurt at an outdoor mall in Boulder, Colorado, in what the FBI quickly called a “targeted terror attack,” American police have detained a male suspect. The attack happened on Sunday when protesters from the volunteer organisation Run For Their Lives came together to draw attention to the situation of Israeli-captured prisoners still living in Gaza.

According to FBI special agent Mark Michalek, the suspect, 45-year-old Mohamed Sabry Soliman, wielded an improvised flamethrower and cried, “Free Palestine.” They took Soliman into jail. Officials stated they expect to hold him “fully accountable,” but no charges were immediately revealed.

Authorities did not provide specifics about Soliman’s injuries, but he was also hurt and sent to the hospital for treatment. Boulder police were more cautious when it came to a motive. According to Police Chief Steve Redfearn, speculating while witnesses were still being questioned “would be irresponsible.

This behaviour was inappropriate on Pearl Street in downtown Boulder on a lovely Sunday afternoon, Redfearn continued. “Please join me in keeping the victims, their families, and all those affected in this tragedy in your thoughts.
