India: The UAE Envoy Praises the Two Nations’ Ties while Hosting a Ramadan Iftar at the Embassy

During the holy month of Ramadan, the UAE Ambassador to India, Abdulnasser Alshaali, hosted an iftar at the UAE Embassy in New Delhi. Senior dignitaries, diplomats, government representatives, and business executives attended the iftar, emphasising the close cultural links and enduring friendship between the UAE and India.

Ambassador Alshaali emphasized the importance of the Holy Month of Ramadan as a period of unity and introspection at the iftar and the principles of peace and harmony that guide UAE-Indian relations.

These kinds of occasions serve to uphold the universal principles of tolerance, peace, and respect for one another that cut across national boundaries and religious beliefs. A typical iftar feast was served at the ceremony, highlighting the diverse ethnic flavors of both countries. Additionally, guests had the chance to speak with the UAE Ambassador to India personally about a variety of significant subjects, such as the UAE and India’s cultural, political, economic, and investment partnership.

Bilateral relations between the UAE and India have developed, supported by regular high-level visits, close cooperation, and important initiatives like the UAE-India Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA).
