Mr. Mukundan A.P. shared, “My academic and professional journey is deeply rooted in a commitment to harnessing the transformative power of data science, artificial intelligence (AI), and data management to address real-world challenges and drive innovation, shaped by a series of educational and professional milestones, contributing to my expertise and perspective. I began my academic journey with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Annamalai University, which provided a comprehensive foundation in organisational management, strategic planning, and problem-solving. This fundamental knowledge, coupled with a focus on critical thinking and strategic problem-solving, established a robust basis for my future endeavours.
Recognising the growing role of technology in shaping business strategies, I pursued an MBA in e-Business, emphasising the incorporation of emerging technology into business frameworks, which ignited my interest in data-driven decision-making and prompted my shift into the specialised domain of data science. To build technical expertise, I enrolled in a Postgraduate Diploma in Data Science at IIIT-Bangalore, where I developed proficiency in statistical analysis, machine learning, and programming tools such as Python, R, and Tableau, which are essential for advanced data analysis and visualisation.”
Mr. Mukundan A.P. added, “To take my academic career to a new height, I obtained a Master’s in Data Science from Liverpool John Moores University, where I examined advanced concepts such AI-driven predictive analytics, cloud platforms such as AWS and Microsoft Azure, and their applications in scalable data management. I am currently conducting PhD research on ‘B2B Data-Driven Marketing: A Comparative Study between Singapore and India,’ examining the varying effects of AI and data analytics across distinct cultural and legal environments.
Alongside these, my contributions to scholarly literature demonstrate a profound involvement with future domains, including 6G vehicular technologies, digital twin architectures, and the revolutionary influence of AI on supply chains, solidifying my proficiency in leveraging data science, AI, and data management to tackle intricate difficulties and develop unique, effective solutions for businesses worldwide.”
