Prof. Dr. Sanjib Chakraborty replied, “My entrepreneurial journey began with teacher education, and starting the Asian College of Teachers (ACT) was a dream come true. Asian College of Teachers (ACT), a multiple award-winning institution, has carved a niche as one of the Asian leaders in teacher education since its inception in 2007 boasting an impressive 50,000+ alumni and 600+ school networks across Asia. ACT is registered in the UK with its Asian headquarter in Bangkok, Thailand, office in the USA, and a PAN India presence.
ACT’s success was a major driving force that spurred further expansion and I took the leap into higher education aimed at working professionals.
I realized the urgency of providing opportunities for working adults in every corner of the globe and that led to the birth of East Bridge University (EBU).
EBU provides a wide range of online Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctorate Programs that are affordable and tailor-made to suit the needs of adults who are looking for higher education opening a variety of career pathways in Business, Education, Teaching, and Management. I have also co-founded the International Education Accreditation Council (IEAC) which creates and maintains quality standards that institutions, educators, and programs must meet. IEAC evaluates educational institutions, programs, and even the performances of educators across the globe through a stringent review process. This evaluation typically involves site visits, self-assessment reports, and inputs from faculty, students, and other stakeholders before accreditation is finally granted.
Furthermore, we have Asia Education Digest (AED), an online magazine offering the latest insights into education. It features articles, tips, and resources for educators, parents, and students. We also have the Centre for Training and Professional Development (CTPD), which offers customized training courses for individuals and organizations, tailored to meet their specific challenges and goals.
