The driver of a black Suzuki Swift that collided with people is a 30-year-old male suspect, according to police. After crashing his car into pedestrians in Derby, UK, on Saturday night, hurting at least seven people, a man has been taken into custody.
The Friar Gate district of Derby is where the incident took place. “Serious but not life-threatening injuries” were reported by the authorities. Shortly after the incident, around 64 kilometers north of Birmingham, Derbyshire Police said that they had detained a man in his 30s who was operating the black Suzuki Swift.
The force also stated that he was detained on suspicion of attempting murder, inflicting grievous bodily harm with intent, and causing serious injury through hazardous driving. We are keeping an open mind about the motivations behind the incident while we continue to investigate the facts around it.
The police are actively investigating,” stated Interior Minister Shabana Mahmood, who expressed her belief that the public is no longer in danger. We don’t think the public has any more reason to be concerned.
