His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the president of the United Arab Emirates, paid a visit to the 17th International Defence Exhibition and Conference (IDEX 2025) on Monday. The UAE President toured the show, which is taking place at the Abu Dhabi National show Centre (ADNEC), stopping at the stands and pavilions of a number of participating domestic and foreign businesses.

He talked with exhibitors about the most recent advancements in the military business and investigated the newest technological advancements and sophisticated technologies in the field. Sheikh Mohamed greeted the foreign visitors to IDEX 2025 and emphasised that the event is still growing in importance as a major international venue for specialised defence organisations and businesses to present their ideas.

He added that the UAE’s defence sector has advanced significantly in recent years as a result of the nation’s strategy for creating a diversified, knowledge-based economy and its overall growth goal. He thanked the IDEX organisers and praised their efforts to elevate the show’s reputation as one of the top defence industry gatherings worldwide.
