Tesla co-founder Compares the Company to the Embattled Enron, to which Elon Musk responds.

Facebook co-founder equates Tesla to scandal-hit Enron, Elon Musk retorts

Known for his criticism of Tesla, Dustin Moskovitz, the co-founder of Facebook, has now referred to the Elon Musk-led company as the next Enron.

If you don’t know, the energy behemoth Enron declared bankruptcy in 2001 when it was discovered that it had concealed billions of dollars’ worth of debt through clever accounting. It was also determined to have lied about its income sources. In 2006, the chief executives of Enron were convicted guilty of conspiracy and fraud. According to Business Insider, Moskovitz said that Tesla had lied to customers about the vehicle’s range and its Full-Self Driving (FSD) software on a large scale.

Federal officials have sued Tesla and looked into its use of Autopilot and Full-Self Driving software; however, there have been no court challenges. Instead of responding to Moskovitz’s accusations directly, Tesla CEO Elon Musk insulted and slurred the Facebook cofounder on X on Friday.

“I’m sorry to Dustin Moskovitz for labeling him as a’retard.'” That was incorrect. I intended to add that he is a legally blind conceited moron whose head is stuck up his own ass. Musk wrote in another post, “I hope we can be friends someday and I wish him the best.”
