The Sharjah Executive Council Approves the Budget Project for 2025

The Crown Prince, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, and Chairman of the Executive Council, Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, presided over the Council meeting on Tuesday at the office of His Highness the Ruler.

Sheikh Sultan Bin Ahmed Bin Sultan Al Qasimi, the deputy chairman of the Executive Council and the deputy ruler of Sharjah, was present at the meeting.

Financial performance, monitoring the economic and financial condition, examining future growth plans, the state of government operations in the emirate, and monitoring development initiatives in several sectors were among the issues covered in the meeting.

In addition to performance indicators of entities according to the sectors of social development, government administration, infrastructure and capital projects, and economic development, the Council approved the draft general budget for Sharjah government departments and bodies for the year 2025. This budget included a comparison of actual government expenditures and revenues with those of independent entities. The Council ordered the Sharjah Consultative Council (SCC) to review the draft budget and conclude its legislative session.
