Donald Trump, the front-runner for the Republican nomination and a former president, was reportedly upset during his arraignment on Thursday in Washington, DC. Trump, who faces an indictment for allegedly trying to rescind his defeat in the 2020 election, is used to being addressed as “Mr. President” by his supporters and allies. Yet Moxila Upadhyaya, a US District Judge, referred to him as “Mr. Trump.
There’s no doubt that Trump gets a little irritated when he doesn’t get the respect he believes is rightfully his. It’s a minor setback for democracy, though. The reason Trump is indicted is because he considered the presidency to be his unceasing domain. That’s not the case, and Judge Upadhyaya made a small but significant.
Theoretically, monarchs are chosen by God, and a sacred aura is said to surround them. Most of the time, a king reigns until his death. He always has the power of kingship, which he transfers to his offspring, who are inherently half-divine.
However, this is untrue of presidents. Despite memes featuring Dark Brandon, being president is nothing inherently sacred. Joe Biden is merely a man appointed to a position by the general public. For his part, Donald Trump is just a man who lost his job due to public pressure. You are neither superior nor inferior to the political system you served in as president. You are not born with eternal glamour; that is the essence of being human.
