Israeli strikes in Gaza killed eleven Palestinians Sunday morning, according to Palestinian health and civil defence sources. According to the Palestinian Red Crescent, at least six people were killed in an attack on a tent camp in northern Gaza, and five people were killed in another hit in the southern part of the strip.
The Israel Defence Forces reported that militants were killed after coming from a tunnel into the Israeli military-controlled portion of the Gaza Strip and that it had hit terror targets in retaliation for Hamas’ violations of the ceasefire.
Since it went into force on October 10, Israel and Hamas have accused one another of breaking the ceasefire deal almost every day.Staff at the Al-Shifa hospital said that a 12th person was killed in a gunfight that occurred independently of the airstrikes, while Gaza’s Civil Defence confirmed that 11 people had been killed in the strikes. Since the ceasefire took effect, at least 600 people have been murdered, according to the health ministry operated by Hamas in Gaza.
