Sadaf Fatima, a 45-year-old HDFC Bank employee, died suddenly in a startling occurrence after falling off her chair inside the bank’s Lucknow premises, according to media reports.

Fatima was working as an Additional Deputy Vice President at the Vibhuti Khand branch of HDFC Bank in Gomti Nagar. Her colleagues told Dainik Bhaskar that she was under a lot of work pressure.

Sadaf Fatima (45), an additional deputy vice president of HDFC Bank in Vibhutikhand, passes away while at work inexplicably. Her body’s panchnama, or record of observation, has been completed and sent for a postmortem examination. After the postmortem, the reason of death will be evident,” Assistant Commissioner of Police Radharaman Singh and Vibhutikh told ANI.

This follows the unfortunate death of a 26-year-old Pune employee of the UK-based consulting firm Ernst & Young (EY) only four months after she started working there.

On July 20, 2024, Anna Sebastian Perayil, who began working at EY in March 2024, passed away. She worked with S R Batliboi, an EY Global member company.
