The Dubai Misdemeanor and Violations Court penalized a European woman Dhs 5,000 and mandated that she pay Dhs 10,000 in restitution for stealing a gold jewelry from a retail establishment. According to a vendor’s complaint filed in March of last year, the accused stole a gold necklace while he was preoccupied.
He claimed that after she had departed, he realized it was gone and that an examination of the store’s security footage revealed the woman packing the necklace into her bag and walking out. He went on to say that he had told the store manager, who had then called the police to report the occurrence.

The crew had examined the store’s surveillance cameras and collected evidence, according to a police officer. She was apprehended when they identified the accused by determining the car she was driving.
The accused acknowledged stealing the jewelry during the course of the investigation, but she maintained that she had planned to purchase it and had not stolen it on purpose. She left the store in shock, though, after learning of her sister’s passing at that very moment.
