Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has launched Tabby, the premier instalment payment software, across all digital channels, including the RTA website, RTA app, nol Pay app, and smart kiosks. Previously, the service was only offered via smart kiosks. This step improves client convenience by allowing them to pay for 170 services, such as vehicle and driver license renewals and traffic penalties.

RTA has integrated Tabby, a popular instalment payment platform that allows payments to be split into up to four instalments, into its digital platforms. This project demonstrates RTA’s dedication to customer satisfaction by offering flexible payment options, such as instalment plans for obtaining car number plates.

Furthermore, the project is consistent with Dubai’s Cashless Strategy and reflects the leadership’s aim of a fully digital and smart government. It also improves the payment experience for RTA services via digital channels, resulting in increased customer satisfaction, digital adoption, and public revenue collection for the Dubai Government.

It is worth noting that RTA collaborated with Tabby last year to offer instalment payment alternatives to its clients. Initially, the agreement was limited to Tabby payments through RTA’s smart kiosks, but it has now been expanded to include all digital channels.
