On Wednesday, UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan met with President Prabowo Subianto of the Republic of Indonesia at Qasr Al Shati in Abu Dhabi. The two leaders discussed ways to further their bilateral collaboration, particularly in important areas such as infrastructure, renewable energy, investment, the economy, and sustainability.
The talks were held within the framework of the two countries’ strategic relationship and comprehensive economic collaboration to achieve their common development goals. The Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, His Highness Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, was present during the meeting.
A number of regional and global developments of shared interest were also reviewed by Sheikh Mohamed and Subianto. They underlined their nations’ unwavering commitment to promoting peace and stability and resolving disputes amicably in order to promote global development and prosperity.
They also reaffirmed their mutual dedication to advancing the UAE-Indonesia relationship, which is still making great strides, for the benefit of both countries’ citizens. The two presidents witnessed the launch of several memoranda of understanding and agreements between Indonesia and the United Arab Emirates during Subianto’s visit.
In addition to agreements on cooperation in the areas of security and Islamic affairs, they encompassed a wide range of topics, such as the economy, investment, environment, food security, renewable energy, and sustainability.
