His Highness the President Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan was present at the Al Nahyan family’s wedding festivities on Thursday in Abu Dhabi’s Al Mushrif Palace. The event commemorated the marriage of Sheikh Khalid Bin Khalifa Bin Mohamed Bin Khalid Al Nahyan to the daughter of Sheikh Ahmed Bin Hamdan Bin Mohamed Al Nahyan and Sheikh Zayed Bin Saif Bin Mohamed Bin Khalifa Al Nahyan to the daughter of Lieutenant General Sheikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister.
The newlyweds and their families received congratulations from His Highness, who also extended his wishes for a happy, loving, and supportive life. Strong, stable families are the cornerstone of a cohesive society, he stressed, and raising well-rounded, morally upright youngsters who have a strong sense of patriotism is crucial to the UAE’s future development. According to His Highness, a key component of the country’s development initiatives remains strengthening the Emirati family.
The grooms conveyed their heartfelt appreciation to His Highness for being present at the festivities and partaking in their happiness. Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan sat for family photos with the newlyweds and their loved ones to mark the event.
