Because of the pleasant weather, UAE travel experts are seeing an increase in inbound travel for Eid Al Fitr this year. As the Eid Al Fitr holidays partially overlap with the school spring break, airfares nationwide continue to rise by at least 20%, even though corporate travel is slowing down.

Eid is anticipated to fall this year on March 31, and the UAE’s schools will start spring break on March 18. During the Eid and Spring Break period, we’ve seen a 30% increase in holiday bookings,” stated Raheesh Babu, COO of musafir.com. The number of outward trips has increased.

Families continue to favor travel destinations like Switzerland, Italy, Latvia, South East Asian nations like Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore, and Malaysia, African nations like South Africa, Kenya, and Zanzibar, and CIS nations like Georgia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan.

“Travel fares have increased by approximately 15-20% compared to last month,” Babu continued. The main cause of this increase is the increased demand brought on by last-minute reservations around Spring Break and Eid.

In the UAE, inbound travel is becoming more popular as locals take advantage of the chance to host relatives and friends for Eid festivities. Compared to last month, there has been a roughly 25% rise in holiday reservations this month.
