Happiest Minds Technologies and Aureus Tech Systems, a US-based digital product engineering company, have reached a definitive agreement for Happiest Minds Technologies to purchase a 100% stake for $8.5 million (roughly Rs 71 crore).The acquisition is anticipated to be completed by the end of June 2024.
Happiest Minds has acquired three companies so far in FY25. It purchased Macmillan Learning India for Rs 4.5 crore and PureSoftware Technologies for $94.5 million (Rs 784 crore) in April.
Aureus is a specialized Azure-native digital product engineering firm that specializes in data, AI, and application modernization for digital transformation. The 150-person company, which delivers “bespoke cloud and AI-based transformation solutions,” has its headquarters in Denver, Colorado.
In addition to enhancing our value proposition in these verticals and supporting our new customer acquisition initiatives, Aureus strengthens our BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance) and healthcare industry groups. Joseph Anantharaju, executive vice-chairman of Happiest Minds, stated, “We are thrilled about the potential to cross-sell and up-sell infrastructure, security, automation, analytics, and GenAI (generative AI) offerings to Aureus’s customers to accelerate Happiest Minds’ growth.
