On April 22, 2024, the Saipan Beacon Lions Club and Xtreme Fitness 670 met with Mayor Ramon B. “RB” Camacho to formally announce their support for the Saipan Mayor’s Office’s initiative to use Zumba to encourage health and wellness in the community.
As the first step in implementing his health and wellness campaign, Camacho made the SMO’s office parking lot available for Xtreme Fitness 670’s Zumba classes. Having enough space is required for holding Zumba sessions.
“Saipan Beacon Lions Club members are leaders and numerous other volunteers in the Xtreme Fitness 670 club, which offers free Zumba and other fitness activities to the public. Our club supports these people in their efforts to help them as fellow Lions.
For the past two years, Zumba fitness classes have been offered on Saipan and Tinian by the Xtreme Fitness 670. In addition to Zumba dancing, the free class taught by certified instructors Mitch Olita and Angelo Galfo includes Strong Nation, HIIT workout, Tabata, Toning, Step Workout, and CIRCL Mobility. They can offer classes for all ages, including Zumba Kids Jr., Zumba Kids, and Zumba Gold, thanks to the Xtreme 670 Coaches License.
