As part of the UAE’s humanitarian air bridge under Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, four UAE aid planes arrived at El Arish International Airport this week, underlining the nation’s continued commitment to helping Palestinian families in Gaza.
Al Ihsan Charity Association, Sharjah Charity International, Dar Al Ber Society, Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi Charity Foundation, International Charity Organization, Saqr Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi Foundation for Charity and Humanitarian Work, Hamad Bin Mohammed Al Sharqi Charity and Humanitarian Foundation, and Fujairah Charity Association were among the Emirati charitable organizations that helped make the aid shipments possible.
In order to lessen the suffering of families impacted by the ongoing humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza, the four aircraft transported 1,442 tonnes of vital relief goods, such as food packages, Ramadan basics, hygiene kits, shelter tents, newborn baby kits, and other urgent needed.
After receiving the planes, the UAE humanitarian relief team based in Al Arish got to work organizing and coordinating the goods’ transportation to the Rafah Border Crossing. Working with the appropriate authorities, they made sure that the supplies were delivered to the Gaza population quickly and effectively.
