As BTS began their lengthy global tour in Goyang Stadium, South Korea, they were pounded by the weather. Heavy downpours soaked both the band and their audience throughout the outdoor performance.

It’s pouring like crazy,” V remarked as he splashed through puddles on the enormous, 360-degree stage. Suga compared the location to “a water park,” and Jimin claimed he was “frustrated and stressed” by the circumstances. He said to the audience, “But that’s not what’s important.” “What’s important is that you’re here with us.”

Despite the conditions, the ensemble gave it their all, performing a 23-song repertoire that was fast-paced and heart-pounding. Following a four-year break during which the band’s members fulfilled their necessary military service, BTS was obviously excited to return to the stage.

V even made the most of the ongoing rain by playing an impromptu rendition of the band’s comeback track, Swim, while lying down on the saturated stage and feigning the breast stroke. “Be careful!” exclaimed RM, the band’s leader, who just had an ankle injury during practices. “You may be hurt like me.
