Agriboost 2026, a comprehensive training and practical program to empower agritech startups, develop creative solutions to support the sustainability of agriculture, and strengthen food security ecosystems in the UAE, has been concluded by the National Agriculture Center and the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Center (Sheraa).
The National Agriculture Center organized the Emirates Agriculture Conference & Exhibition 2026, which included a closing ceremony. The five winning startups showcased their technology solutions and business strategies in live demonstrations.
Sultan Al Shamsi, Director of the National Agriculture Center, Sara Abdelaziz Al Nuaimi, CEO of the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Center (Sheraa), and Eng. Amal Abdulrahim, Assistant Undersecretary for the Support Services Sector at the UAE Ministry of Climate Change and Environment (MOCCAE), were present at the event.
“Our goal is agricultural entrepreneurship, and the Agriboost program received more than 100 applications,” stated Sultan Al Shamsi, Director of the National Agriculture Center. After a thorough and rigorous evaluation process, a distinguished group emerged with innovative and practical ideas that are relevant and scalable, directly promoting the agricultural industry and facilitating its sustainable future.
