Co-founded by Donald Trump Jr., the new private membership club in Washington, D.C., has a waiting list and charges a $500,000 membership fee. According to people familiar with the club who asked not to be named, the Executive Branch club hosted a launch party on Saturday night that included at least six members of President Donald Trump’s administration, as well as affluent CEOs, tech founders, and policy experts.
Donald Trump Jr., Omeed Malik, and Christopher Buskirk of 1789 Capital, the investment firm where Trump Jr. became a partner last year, created Executive Branch. The sons of wealthy real estate developer Steve Witkoff, the president’s long-time friend and current Middle East ambassador, Alex and Zach Witkoff, are among the other founders.
According to individuals familiar with the matter, the founding members include internet billionaire Chamath Palihapitiya, White House crypto czar David Sacks, and cryptocurrency founders Tyler and Cameron Winklevoss. The club has not yet announced the annual dues that will be added to the $500,000 membership fee.
Since the COVID-19 pandemic, a number of private membership clubs have sprung up in places like New York, Miami, and Los Angeles, the most recent of which is Executive Branch. In addition to conference rooms, gyms, and spas, the clubs provide upscale dining options and bars. Membership prices range from around $4,000 to $10,000. Some can cost up to $200,000, like as the Aman Club in New York.
