His Majesty The UAE’s president, Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, reaffirmed on Wednesday that the country is in favour of multilateral international action that promotes peace and development both domestically and globally and strengthens the group’s ability to address shared global issues.
“I was delighted to take part in the BRICS Summit today in Kazan, Russia,” Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed said on X. The UAE supports multilateral cooperation that strengthens group efforts to address global issues while promoting peace and development. The UAE firmly collaborates with BRICS member nations to create a more secure and prosperous future for everybody.
This year’s summit, which has as its topic “Strengthening Multilateralism for Equitable Global Development and Security,” brings together representatives of invited governments as well as the leaders and heads of government of numerous BRICS countries.
Along with several ministers and high-ranking officials, the delegation that accompanies His Highness the President includes Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, the Presidential Court’s Advisor for Special Affairs; H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs; and H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed, the Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs.
