His Highness On Wednesday, Dr. Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member, Ruler of Sharjah, and Supreme President of the Arabic Language Academy (ALA), presented the Sharjah Award for Linguistic and Lexical Studies to the winners of the seventh session at ALA.
Sheikh Sultan emphasized that the distinguished efforts of scholars and experts, as well as the continuation of scientific research, documentation, and publication of various sciences, are a great benefit to the nation and future generations, and that Sharjah has been working on this for decades, as well as its desire to honour and celebrate researchers who work hard and diligently.
The ruler of Sharjah clarified that Sharjah operates in accordance with well-researched programs that give everyone working in the sciences, historical and geographical studies, and Arabic the tools and resources they need.
In order to provide accurate knowledge with a pure and comprehensive scientific objective, Sheikh Sultan emphasized the importance of information verification as well as proper investigation, analysis, and interpretation.
The winners of the 7th Linguistic Studies Award were commended by the Ruler of Sharjah for their outstanding contributions and creative ideas that resulted in prestigious, sound scientific study to enhance the Arabic library in the many Arabic language subjects.
