Indore According to an official on Thursday, the Indian Institute of Technology Indore is creating intelligent receivers that would be very beneficial in the sphere of military communication as the nation moves toward implementing 6G technology. According to an IIT official, IIT Indore is creating intelligent receivers that can automatically recognize and decode important communication techniques including modulation, channel coding, and interleaving, which aid in precise data transmission even in difficult situations with noise or interference.
Communication systems will have to manage extremely fast mobile internet and massive device networks, like the Internet of Things, as the world transitions to 6G. In the past, many receivers were needed for various situations, which made systems costly and complex. By developing a single receiver that can adjust to every circumstance, IIT Indore’s technology seeks to do away with the necessity for several devices,” he stated. The receiver is being developed under the leadership of Dr Swaminathan R, Professor, Department of Electrical Engineering of IIT Indore.
