Leading a group from the United Arab Emirates to Warsaw, Poland, this week, Minister of State for Foreign Trade Dr. Thani Bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi met with high-ranking government officials in an effort to open up new avenues for further trade and economic cooperation between the two countries.
In order to expand on a joint economic collaboration program that was started in 2022 and promotes corporate collaborations, financial exchange, and information sharing, the discussions come after Poland’s president, Andrzej Duda, made an official visit to the UAE last week.
Wojciech Kolarski, Head of the President’s Office’s International Policy Department, and Al Zeyoudi had bilateral meetings during the visit, which was accompanied by Mohamed Al Harbi, UAE Ambassador to Poland.
Throughout their conversations, Al Zeyoudi expressed the warm sentiments of the UAE leadership and reiterated the desire to deepen diplomatic relations with Poland. He met with Adam Szłapka, Minister of European Affairs, to discuss ways to boost bilateral trade, while he met with Władysław Teofil Bartoszewski, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Paweł Jabłoński, Undersecretary of State for Economic and Development Cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, to discuss cooperation in the fields of agriculture and renewable energy.
