Noor Al Tamimi, the chairperson of the Emirates Franchise and a board member of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, presided over the second meeting of the Emirates Franchise for 2025, which officials from other emirates attended.
The operational strategy of the franchise, the completion of the bylaws, and the establishment of strategic priorities to increase its influence on the national economy were also topics of debate. The Executive Committee, working groups from each emirate, and board members evaluated the organization’s agenda progress and emphasized important takeaways from recent talks.
These included determining the industry’s problems, devising fixes, and making practical suggestions to bring UAE franchising into compliance with international norms. To encourage sustainable growth, the focus was on fostering innovation, increasing competitiveness, and establishing a forum for cooperation between business owners, franchisees, and stakeholders.
Al Tamimi reiterated the Franchise’s dedication to enabling the industry as a driving force behind entrepreneurship and economic diversification. “The UAE works tirelessly to provide the means to realize its economic goals. By implementing ambitious objectives, such as a flexible business structure that enables continuous growth and prosperity, our organization will play a significant role in promoting the franchise sector,” she stated.
