Livestreamed NATO Summit: Zelenskyy Requests that Allies Remove Restrictions on Strikes in Russia

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has pleaded with NATO allies to remove the last of the obstacles preventing Ukraine from using force against targets located on Russian soil.

With calls from members of his own party for him to resign mounting, Biden is getting ready for his first news conference and the criticism isn’t stopping.

Before Biden’s speech after the NATO summit, US Representative Brad Schneider also voiced his support, stating that Biden should “heroically pass the torch to a new generation of leadership.

At least 11 other House of Representatives members have specifically urged Biden to withdraw. Peter Welch, the first senator from the Democratic Party to join them, did so yesterday.

Concerns regarding Biden’s chances of defeating Trump in November’s US election have been expressed by a number of other notable Democratic donors and figures.

With the British Labour Party leader’s confirmation as prime minister just a few days prior, Starmer’s international debut occurred during the NATO summit.

Alongside Starmer at the event, Erdogan is the most recent leader to have face-to-face talks.

According to the Biden administration, the most recent shipment is the 61st “tranche of equipment” that the Pentagon has shipped to Ukraine since August 2021. Under presidential authority, the weapons are supplied to support the nation’s allies by drawing from US defense stocks.
