During an official business visit to Stockholm, Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, was welcomed by King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden, accompanied by Crown Princess Victoria Ingrid Alice Désirée.
Sheikh Abdullah greeted the meeting on behalf of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan and wished Sweden and its citizens continued prosperity and progress. In exchange, Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed received greetings from the King of Sweden, who also conveyed his hopes for the UAE’s ongoing development and prosperity.
The bilateral ties between Sweden and the United Arab Emirates were the main topic of discussion. They looked at how to improve collaboration in areas of shared interest, especially when it came to both nations’ developmental aspirations.
Sheikh Abdullah reaffirmed the UAE’s dedication to enhancing its fruitful and positive partnership with Sweden, stressing the two countries’ shared interest in promoting cooperation in important areas such as trade, the economy, renewable energy, technology, education, and cutting-edge innovations. In addition, Sheikh Abdullah said he was proud to be in Sweden and praised the nation’s outstanding advancements in a number of areas.
