President of the United Arab Emirates, His Highness US Vice President Kamala Harris met with Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan at the White House to talk about the long-standing strategic alliance between the US and the UAE.
The discussions, which were a part of the UAE President’s official visit to the US, examined the recent notable advancements in bilateral relations and looked into potential areas for future cooperation in the areas of trade and investment, technology, energy, economy, and climate action, among other things.
Vice President Harris and His Highness spoke about a variety of mutually important regional and global topics. In order to secure development for the people of the region, he reaffirmed the UAE’s strong stance that regional stability serves everyone’s interests. He also emphasised how crucial it is for all parties to work towards a comprehensive, just, and long-lasting peace based on the two-state solution.
His Highness conveyed his gratitude for the Vice President’s contribution to the improvement of UAE-US relations and collaboration in tackling global concerns like energy security, climate change, and sustainable development in recent years.
