According to the UAE Digital Government, GCC nationals and their escorts who want to travel to the UAE must apply online for a visa. The e-visa has a 30-day validity period and can be extended once for an additional 30-day period.

An e-visa is required in order to enter the United Arab Emirates, according to the DGOV. The aforementioned e-visa was advised to be acquired via the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship, Customs and Port Security’s (ICP) smart channels and the General Directorate of Residency for Foreigners Affairs’ website in Dubai.

After the application is accepted, the eVisa will be emailed to the registered email address of the applicants.

The validity of an entry permission for escorts travelling with GCC nationals is 60 days from the date of issuance, and they are permitted to remain for that duration. One 60-day extension of the visa is possible.

The applicant will not be permitted entry into the country if the GCC residency visa is discovered to be revoked or expired upon arrival. The bearer of the entry permission will not be allowed entry if it is discovered that the GCC resident’s occupation has changed since the permit was issued.
